Off street parking is available for Inge’s Cottage only. Guests of the Summerhouse may park on the pavement outside the house. There is usually plenty of street parking available.
Many guests will arrive before the designated check-in time. The good news is that there is plenty to do. We often suggest that guests visit the grocery store and do a small shop. That will give you more time to relax once you’ve checked in! There are also a few good restaurants for lunch so why not relax and enjoy some of the local food!
You will find the accommodation clean on arrival but please let us know if you are not satisfied.
If you need a cleaning service during your stay, please let us know and we will arrange this, an extra payment will apply.
After you depart, housekeeping will perform a deep clean for the next guest. If you are here for two weeks there will be one linen change, usually somewhere in the middle of your stay, as arranged (monthly stays will receive clean linen weekly).
Housekeeping will be given a key and will access the house at some point during the day, but not before 10am.
On departure it would be helpful if you could leave the Summerhouse (particularly kitchen contents) clean and tidy when you leave.
Absolutely no pets or support animals allowed.
Also please note that there are three cats that live on the property.

Most Thursdays and Saturdays we have a gardener. If you leave the accommodation for the day, please leave the gate open so that he can maintain your garden for you.
Both rooms at our establishment are equipped with inverters to ensure uninterrupted access to WiFi and TV during loadshedding. However, please note that during loadshedding, the inverters will only power the WiFi and TV, and other appliances such as lights will not be operational.
We highly recommend that you download the mobile app, “Eskom se Push” to keep up to date during your stay. It is available on the Google Play store, as well as the Apple App Store
