Long-term stays available

From the kindness of the hosts, to the serene beauty of a place set in nature, I loved everything. I recommend anyone going to CT (who prefers a lovely home over a boring hotel) to stay here. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for the unique concept and for going the extra mile. See you soon!

The atmosphere was so warm and lovely, it felt like we were staying in a private 5-star room just for us! The garden is spectacular and the room had everything we wanted. The linen and gowns were amazing, the bed was so comfortable, and really enjoyed having a coffee on the terrace, watching the cats play in the trees.

The Summerhouse is a cozy little paradise in a vibey, central location. Super for long stays (I stayed for a month) or for a weekend away. I stayed in winter but theres an awesome little fire pit to warm you up on cold nights, plenty of blankets and heaters and a heated blanket too. Great hosts and really lovely place.

You’ll be forgiven for thinking this perfectly appointed cottage is in the middle of a forest. What an incredible feat Liz and Tim have achieved with this property. My stay was short but I’d gladly return here given the opportunity! They’re really attentive hosts with a rare attention to detail, bound to make any guest feel at home.

I loved the interior design style, the outdoor kitchen with the gas stove. The hosts are the best!

    In the heart of Kenilworth...

Nestled between the leafy suburbs of Claremont and Wynberg, Kenilworth is a charming suburb that offers a tranquil escape from the bustling city life of Cape Town. Its prime location makes it an ideal central base for exploring the best tourist attractions in the Mother City, as well as its hidden gems.

Upper Kenilworth is a highly sought-after area with beautiful homes that boast large gardens and tree-lined streets. One of the suburb’s most notable landmarks is the Kenilworth Racecourse, the oldest of its kind in South Africa, established in 1882. The racecourse hosts internationally acclaimed events like the Sun Met, a glitzy annual event that attracts around 50,000 spectators, and the more exclusive Queens Plate.

Kenilworth’s central location provides easy access to many nearby attractions, including the upmarket shopping centers and restaurants of Claremont, the scenic Constantia Wine Route, and the historic Maynardville Theatre in Wynberg, known for its annual Shakespeare productions. Whether you are a tourist or a local looking for a peaceful escape, Kenilworth is the perfect place to call home during your Cape Town adventures.
